informacjapubliczna.org is the on-line resource centre on access to public information in Poland (and sometimes outside) created in 2006 by the Citizens Network Watchdog Poland.
In one place it collects articles, analyses, information on legal framework in Poland or internationally and provides practical information on how to use the right to know.
The users are co-creators of the website content. They can add articles and information on their experience, inform on their complaint submitted to a court, invite people to attend hearing and they can comment the articles that are presented. They also co-funded the new design of the website. The list of individual donors is available on the website.

Citizens Network Watchdog Poland
The Citizens Network Watchdog Poland stays on guard of freedom of information. It runs litigations for public benefit to broaden understanding of the right to know by courts, institutions and the society and to make it work in practice. Since 2006 the organization has been active in 500 cases, submitted around a 100 opinions and interventions focused on transparency issues. Annually it provides 2,000 legal consultations to people having problems with executing the right to know. It takes part in public debate on freedom of information in Poland and actively promotes the right to know. On the daily basis it cooperates with around 300 activists, bloggers and journalists actively advocating on open governance in their communities.
Heinrich Böll Foundation
Heinrich Böll Foundation has been a partner of the website since 2014. It supports civil socjety development by joint projects with NGOs. It believes that active citizens, either on local or global level, create the engine of democracy.
The Foundation is an important participant of the public debate, raising issues important for the democracy by organizing meetings and preparing publications..
